Board Members

Mr. Hüseyin Çalık was born in Konya in 1935. His school life began in Konya and after graduating from High School in 1951, he continued his studies in Economics, Trade and Finance in Istanbul. He began working while still in High School and continued through his university years. He founded a construction company in 1962 and activity from this company along with textile, tourism, agriculture, education and communication provided him with various investment opportunities.

Dr. Fatma Kızılırmak was born in Antalya in 1958.  After graduating from the Ankara High School for Girls, she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at 9 Eyül University.   Dr. Kızılırmak worked as a doctor in the Tuberculosis Dispensary of Physicians in Çorlu and as a general practitioner in the centre of Antalya.  She also worked as a doctor in the Emergency Room in the Antalya State Hospital.  She performed duties as a research assistant whilst studying for a P.H.D. in the Department of Physiology at Akdeniz University.  She served as a director at the Antalya Provincial Health Department.  She currently works as both a board member and a CEO of Antalya College.  She speaks fluent German, French and English.  She’s married with two children. 

Mr. Osman Berberoğlu was born in Antalya in 1949 and completed his Primary education in Antalya. He graduated from Ege University Faculty of Engineering in 1972 in Izmir and became a Buılding and Construction Engineer.

Mr Berberoğlu started working for Antalya City Council and in a short period of time he became the Director of the City Planning Department. In 1976 he was elected as the Chairman of the Civil Engineers and in 1980 he was re-elected. In 1981 he was also elected to the Board of  Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In re-elections in 1983 he became Head of Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He played a big part during the foundation of Antalya’s Industrıal Estate and after 17 years and after completing the 2nd phase of Antalya’s Industrial Estate Project he gave up the position and handed over the responsibilities to his colleagues.

Since then he has been the Vice Principal of the company which is in charge of Antalya Customs and Excise. 

In 1995 he was elected as an MP for Antalya. He worked as an MP fort he benifit of Antalya was re-elected twice. He was also a Member of the Board of his Party.

Mr. Berberoğlu who is married with two children speaks German. He is also a writer and many of his articles were published in various papers and magazines. He also works a lot for charities such as Sports and Health Charaties.

Ms. Lale Çalık Sarper was born in Antalya in 1972.  She graduated from Antalya College in 1990.  She studied marketing at the University of Tampa in the U.S.A.  She later completed a Masters Degree in Business at the University of Harry, also in the U.S.A.   After returning to Turkey, she became a member of the Antalya College School Board.  She is married with two children.
